Grange man put on sex offenders register for groping 13 year old girl
A man from Grange has been put on the sex offenders register for groping a young teenage girl.
Oliver Skyrme was 18-years old when he kissed and fondled the 13-year old victim in his family’s butcher shop.
He had sent her a text message asking her to bring him a chocolate bar as he worked behind the counter.
He later told the girl he loved her.
Skyrme – now 21, and of Thornfield Road – admitted three counts of sexual activity with a child at Carlisle Crown Court.
He’ll also be put under three years’ probation.
