Man jailed for sexual assaults on child in Carlisle area
A man has been jailed for a string of historical sexual assaults on a child.
John Little, 68, carried out the abuse between 1984 and 1988, in the Carlisle area.
He had initially denied six charges of sexual assault, against a single victim, before changing his pleas to guilty.
He was sentenced to six years in prison today (18 June) at Carlisle Crown Court, by Judge Peter Hughes QC.
The Judge told Little, of Briardale Road, Blyth, Northumberland, that he had “grossly abused” the youngster.
